MANDIR INFO
January 1, 1996 may be written in golden letters in the history of this temple. On this auspicious day, the devotees had the first chance to offer their prayers at this place. As you enter the gate your first opportunity is to perform abhishekh of the largest Shivling in North America. In the next segment of your visit you will experience a phenomenon-a dazzling scene of adorable deities sharing a common platform. This arrangement is an unusual concept for a traditional Hindu temple. From the very beginning organizers have realized the importance of integrating the community and create harmony amongst the members. Such a congenial atmosphere is ideal for people to meditate upon their chosen deities. On a regular basis devotees come for Darshan, Abhishekh, Puja, Paath, meditation, other rituals and seek spiritual guidance from the priests. On major events like Maha Shivratri, Holi, Navratri, Bhagwan Ram Navmi and Shri Krishan Janam ashtmi, Ganesh Utsav, Durga Ashtmi, Karva Chauth, Diwali, Ann Kutt (Govardhan Puja), Mahavir Jayanti and Laxmi Pujan families and friends visit the temple in groups through out the day. There is a lot of hustle and bustle but the place never gets over crowded. Garbha loving people come in such high numbers every year that the management is forced to hold this event at an outside venue. Various discourses and educational classes are held for adults to enhance their religious understanding. For children, special attention is paid to impart basic understanding of our religious and cultural values. Your visit to this temple will be highly appreciated by volunteers and management for giving them a chance to serve you.
